Social · Speech & camera preparation

Prepare to speak with clarity and substance.

Organise the argument, verify the material and practise a delivery that remains recognisably yours.

Begin with the setting and the purpose

A public speech, interview and short video ask different things of a speaker. Preparation should clarify the subject, available time, factual basis and likely questions.

The aim is to help a leader explain a position clearly, not to manufacture a personal experience or imply expertise that has not been established.

What preparation may include

  • A speaking brief with a clear opening, argument and close.
  • Verified notes separating facts from opinion.
  • Practice questions and concise answer structures.
  • Rehearsal and feedback on pace, clarity and presentation.
  • A checklist for recording, consent and final factual review.

Keep the speaker’s ownership intact

A draft should sound natural for the speaker’s language and level of familiarity with the topic. Uncertain facts should be removed, qualified or checked. A rehearsal is useful when it exposes a weak argument before it reaches the public.

The speaker must understand and approve the final message. Personal anecdotes, commitments and quotations require particular care; none should be invented for emotional effect.

Scope and responsibilities

The client shares the event brief, format, time limit and authorised background material. The engagement defines preparation sessions, languages, recording support and review rounds.

The service does not guarantee media coverage or control an interviewer’s questions. We do not train a speaker to present false evidence, evade lawful obligations or attack people through defamatory claims.

Questions about the work

Is a teleprompter required?

No. Notes, structured prompts or a full script can be used according to the speaker and format.

Can you prepare for an interview?

Yes, within scope. Preparation can strengthen clarity and factual readiness but cannot guarantee questions or coverage.
