Who may be a suitable fit
First-generation aspirants may need a clear starting point and a way to turn goodwill into organised work. Experienced candidates may need an independent diagnosis, better coordination or a defined communication assignment. Sitting and former representatives may seek support for public engagement and constituency organisation.
Party candidates and independents are both considered. Neither a party label nor a past election result is, by itself, a reason to accept an assignment.
What we need from a client
The work depends on cooperation, accurate information and decisions from the client. Your own team remains essential; consulting support does not replace personal public engagement.
- Nominate a decision-maker and a working point of contact.
- Share relevant information that you have the right to use.
- Agree a realistic scope, time commitment and resource plan.
- Take responsibility for approvals, local permissions and client-side actions.
- Allow evidence-based challenge and timely correction of errors.
Readiness is a conversation, not a public score
The Strategic Audit journey considers political capital, public connection, team readiness, time and resources, and strategic clarity. We do not assign a fabricated win probability or publish an internal qualification checklist.
If the assignment is too early, too late, outside our capacity or affected by a conflict, we may suggest a narrower next step or decline. An honest boundary is more useful than an undeliverable promise.
Before commitments are made
An inquiry does not reserve a constituency. Fit and conflicts must be reviewed, and the scope and duration of any exclusivity must be agreed in writing. Commercial terms are discussed privately before paid work begins.
Questions about the work
Can I approach iPol before I have a party nomination?
Yes. Explain your current position and intended path honestly. Consulting cannot secure or guarantee a nomination.
Can my team be involved?
Yes. Client-side responsibilities, reporting and approvals should be defined at the start.
